SymbolicLinker overview
SymbolicLinker is a tiny service that, once installed, allows any user to create symbolic links to files inside the Finder. It does this by adding a contextual-menu item to the Finder that generates symbolic links to the selected files. The goal of this product is to decrease users' trips to the Terminal in order to use the "ln -s" command.

Thank God this is now at least Universal! I tried it on 2021 M1 Mac Book Pro 12.1 on it and worked like care follow the included instructions! I wish all Linux developers to use this example to make READ Me text file that was really clear and I now can run Symbolic Links again on M1!

I was looking for an easy way to store data in the icloudDrive and work with files on the Mac and have the files "synchronized". It´s not a real Synch but it serves the purpose. Thanx. There is also a version in the app store with the same icon that has a graphic interface. Is that the same developer?

I've been using SymbolicLinker for years, and more than ever now that Big Sur has destroyed the ability of Aliases to retain their targets' custom icons (FFS, Apple!). Thanks for making symlinks easy!

I am running Catalina 10.15.6. I have the Create symbolic link in the services menu when control clicking. I can create symbolic links from my root drive, but when I try to create them on my external disk, nothing happens.
Can anyone help?

Works in Catalina. Exactly what I needed when Terminal refused to create a link from a USB drive saying "target not found." Symlinker had no problem. Lightweight and exactly what I needed for quick access to create Symlinks.
